How to get indexed by Google in 24-48 hours
Is your website new and you have no idea how you can get it indexed by Google? Read this short article and you will find out how.
Let’s begin by asking ourselves a very important question: What does getting indexed by Google really mean?
Being indexed by Google means having Google know that your website is out there and that your URL is, for instance: yourdomain.com. After reading this article, you will be able to tell Google: Hey! This is my website, these are my pages, and this is my URL.
Getting indexed by Google is one of the most important steps in the Search Engine Optimization process. Now you are probably thinking: “but Fran, why not Bing or Yahoo?!”, and the answer is very simple: none of them IS Google!
Ok then. You need to get indexed by Google. The easiest way to do this is by using Google Webmaster Tool and simply submitting a sitemap. But this provides no guarantee that you will get your site indexed in 24-48 hours, and instead it could take a week … or even two!
The most effective way of getting indexed by Google is to have another website/blog “expose you” to Google. How is this possible? The simplest way you can imagine: a link!
What do you need to do in order to make this happen? Here are some tips:
- You have to search for blogs with contents similar to your website’s contents. For instance, if you own a hair salon, you can google the phrase “hair salon blog” or “stylist blog” or any similar phrases.
- Then, there are two other things you can do:
- Contact the Blog owner and pay him to have a link to your website inserted in his blog, or even negotiate some sort of link exchange with him.
- Leave a comment on 2-5 posts. To make this technique work, make sure that the link does not contain the code rel=”nofollow”. If this code is not included in the blog, you will get indexed by Google in 1-6 hours, 1 day, or maybe 2, depending on the Blog’s optimization scheme.
That’s it! Just take your time to do it and be patient. Comment as many blogs as you can find!
I will be waiting for your comments, our Blog doesn´t have the rel=”nofollow” code… so, what are you waiting to get indexed by Google in 24-48hrs?
